Tottenham Hotspur's Kieran Trippier celebrates victory after the Premier League match at Selhurst Park, London.

Kieran Trippier’s ‘dream comes true’ as he joins England squad

Stellar client Kieran Trippier is the latest star name to be called up to the England squad.

The Spurs full back will join the Three Lions for a World Cup qualifier against Scotland on June 10th and a friendly against France three days later.

The 26-year-old, who had previously been capped at under 21 level, said: “I’ve been watching England since I was a young boy and it’s always been my dream to be a professional footballer and to play for such a big club as Tottenham.

“Obviously playing in the Champions League this season was the icing on the cake and it’s all falling into place, playing more games, playing in the Champions League and now getting called up for England. It’s a dream and a big achievement for me, one of the best of my career.”

Kieran’s agent Greg Wadsworth said this latest milestone was testament to the player’s talent and determination.

“I’ve worked with Kieran since he was 15. The first time I saw him play I was astounded by his talent and knew that one day he would take his place as one of the best right-backs in football,” said Greg.

“To get to the top takes exceedingly hard work and focus and it is hugely satisfying to see Tripps getting the rewards he deserves.”
