GRANT HOLLOWAY HURDLES ANOTHER RECORD WIN

A great night for ICM Stellar athletes was capped by sensational performance by Grant Holloway.

The 23-year-old set national and meeting records in the 60m hurdles, missing out on the world indoor record by just 0.02 seconds.

Elsewhere at the World Indoor Tour meeting, which took place in Liévin, France, Elliot Giles took gold in the 800m (1.45.49), beating his rival by a full second.

Christina Clemons won silver in the 60m hurdles (7.91), missing out on the title in a photo finish, with Melissa Bryant coming third in the 1500m (4.04.79), a race which also saw the setting of a new world indoor record.

Stellar Athletics Operations Director Jennifer Stoute said: “It was a great night for athletics and another great night for our athletes. With fingers crossed that the Olympics will be safe to take place, we are seeing some special talents emerge and continue to impress.”
